Flexible Scheduling
Students can opt for a variety of lesson types (30, 45, or 60 minute lessons) at a schedule and frequency that works for them. Lessons are offered during the week and weekends, and scheduling is at the discretion of the student and instructor.
Performance Opportunities
Each year, students will have the opportunity to perform for friends, family, and peers at Penfield Guitar School’s Summer and Winter recitals. Each recital gives students the chance to show their musical endeavors and improvements, and to perform with other fellow students in a group ensemble. Juries are offered at the end of the Spring semester that gives students the opportunity to receive detailed feedback from instructors and guitar professionals.
Guitar Rentals
For those new to the guitar, guitar rentals may be offered for a small deposit fee and rate per semester.
Trial Lessons
You can schedule a one-time paid trial lesson before registering for lessons. Trial lessons are non-committal, and offered to insure that guitar lessons are right for you.
Extensive Resources and Tools
Penfield Guitar School utilizes a vast pool of resources to aid instruction in each lesson including: method books in the styles of rock, classical, jazz, etc., scores and music available to each student, a variety of musical instruments and tools to help diversify the instructor’s approach to each lesson, and more.
